Every page carries a last-updated date so you can judge how much weight to give it. When a reader tells us something no longer matches reality, we check it and correct the page, and we would rather receive that email than leave a stale instruction in place.

6. How This Site Is Funded

This site is free to read and is funded by advertising served by third-party ad networks. That is what pays for hosting and for the time spent keeping guides current.
